OVERVIEW
The purpose is to provide South Africa and KwaZulu-Natal in particular, with skilled audiologists, to ensure effective, efficient and accessible hearing healthcare service delivery in the public and private sectors, e.g. hospitals, special schools and private practice. Service delivery includes hearing assessments (infants to the elderly), specialised diagnostic testing, the fitting of hearing aids, hearing conservation programmes in industry, and therapeutic intervention with hearing impaired children and adults.

National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a degree pass Minimum subject requirements: • English (Home Language or First Additional Language) – Level 4 • Life Orientation – Level 4 • Mathematics – Level 3 • Life Sciences or Physical Science – Level 3 • Minimum of 30 points (excluding Life Orientation)
