OVERVIEW
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme is a four-year full-time undergraduate degree offered at the Westville Campus. This programme provides students with an in-depth understanding of human movement, physical rehabilitation, and wellness, integrating key disciplines such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, and therapeutic techniques. Students engage in extensive clinical training alongside academic coursework, learning to assess, treat, and prevent a range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. The programme emphasises evidence-based practice and patient-cantered care, equipping graduates to enhance functional mobility and improve quality of life for individuals across all ages and backgrounds.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a degree pass Minimum subject requirements:
- English
- Life Orientation – Level 4
- Life Sciences – Level 4
- Maths and Phys Sci 4 (Choice 1, 2 and 3 will be prioritised)
